Usually, I focus on painting wildlife. But during my stay in the Lincolnshire Wolds, I was drawn to paint the landscape - and even a church. This wonderful ancient church was updated in Victorian times and, according to records, in the 1870s it served the 27 residents that lived in the little hamlet of Oxcombe.
This painting is one of a series of small oils on panel that I have painted during my ongoing residency at Oxcombe Pottery and farm in the Lincolnshire Wolds.
