The tiny long tailed tit can often be seen tumbling through the sky from tree to tree, in little groups all doing their typical peep-peep-peep call as they fly. I’ve seen them a lot along the canals, flittering around the foliage that lines Britain’s beautiful waterways.
They’re a mere ball of feathery fluff with an oversized tail, and they are a joy to see and paint.
